This green tunic is a a readymade  from Fabindia[A shop for ethnic Indian wear and furnishings]. I matched it with  plain off white salwar.The  is again my own design [just repeated a simple pattern] for the yoke.

I drew the pattern on a graph  paper and copied it on to the fabric,then cross stitched the pattern in two colurs with four strands. The cross stitches were made in big scale to  create a bold effect.[ does this sentence sound right?]

This yoke  looks quite impressive – either because of the simplicity of the design or  the colour co-ordination or maybe both.
