The original seam is on sharonB’s blog. This seam and the previous seam were counted as 1 seam and detailed under the 2nd day.
This is a simple seam – A ricrac is tied down with detached chain stitches.

Ricrac was tacked down with a single strand of pink thread. Three detached chain stitches are worked on the peaks on both sides. I have to learn to hold the ricrac and work the stitches.

The link to this seam is here on SharonB ’s blog. On the stitchin fingers group, the members are working on their own seam treatments. This was a surprise, but still I‘ll have the opportunity to see new things. I have changed this into a personal challenge.
This seam is an easy one, quarter buttonhole wheels are worked in a row with beads.

I started with the first decorative seam today on this personal challenge of working the seam treatments worked and detailed by SharonB on her blog in 2006.
I wanted to draw the seam, but I was in a hurry to post this today, so it is not neat. I just used highlighter for the beads.

In this seam I used the theme by SharonB on her blog. The stitches are worked with cotton skeins. Straight stitches arrangement along with cross stitch. The seam-

I very enthusiastic about this challenge now.

In 2006 SharonB, had detailed over hundred seam treatments for 100 days on her blog. the link-

whenever I visit her blog, these entries kept luring me. when these detailing was going on, a few people also joined and started detailing their own seam treatments. I was also interested in working these seams. when I knew of her blog in 2007, and was waiting for an opening . This happened in stitchinfingers community-

http://stitchinfingers.ning.com/

Some people formed a group in 2009, and revisited this as a group challenge. it is again revived now. I don’t know when the idea originated, but officially it started from yesterday on this group. I just counted myself in. I am still in the thinking stage. it may not be everyday, but my personal challenge would be to work all the seams, this way I am hoping learn some new things.

I want continue with TAST 2014 challenge too.

once I start working, I ‘ll post the pictures and their links to SharonB’ blog.
