While working on the progress on my tunic fabrics, my friend gave a project of working on a blue tussar silk tunic. Small feather stitches are worked on the marked spots on the tunic front with metallic thread
Double cross stitches are worked with half white thread on this neck line between the square motifs.
Two more rows are worked with the same colour thread on this plum cotton tunic.
While I was working on these projects, SSS challenge started after a break. After finishing these, it is time to work on that

Doesn’t it take a long time for each small set of small Feather stitches? You have to start and fasten the thread so many times…
A little bit of white makes the turquoise and gold stand out.
You have worked hard.

Yes it does take time, stitching takes less time than starting and fastening for sure, but my friend wanted the whole front and sleeves to be filled with stitches. now seed beads are being added[ feather stitches seem easier]
Thank you.

Feather stitch makes a nice change from chain stitch, doesn’t it!
