I started on this challenge quite  late thinking it was an easy one. But it was different in reality. the details of this challenge is here.
First it gave too many choices, I couldn’t decide which stitches to use for filling.
The shapes within which these stitches can be experimented. Random shapes or shapes as part of a design. I started with random shapes.
The fabric to work the challenge. A pink colour striped handloom fabric was chosen [thinking the lines can be used as marking]
The indecision went on and on, at last I started on the sampler last week.
The sampler
Arrow head stitches worked in two directions are used to fill the first shape.
Lacing the chain stitch rows started on the second motif.
After lacing the rows, running stitch rows are worked between them.
The third motif starts with herringbone squares.
Squares made of arrow head stitches are worked in the spaces between herringbone squares.
Vertical threads are stitched down with chain stitch rows.
Lock stitches are worked over straight stitches on this 4th shape.
Closed herringbone filling in two colours was worked on this zizzag shape.
Double herringbone stitch rows are worked to fill the 6th motif.
Still working on this sampler.
