The idea of posting the progress on projects helps to commit and work on them consistently. The motivation to work on the projects increases by linking this post to Pintangle, where Sharon and others share their projects.
For five weeks I have not seen my hussif, the black work filling cannot be called a good idea, still I am stuck with it.
Small diamond mirrors were worked into the seven diamond spaces below the neck on my tunic. The mirror stitch which goes around the mirror itself was extended to fill the shapes. This couldn’t have been possible if the mirrors were big. Antique gold beads were worked on the neck line.
The fifth week edges were completed this week.
The design was drawn for the beaded alternating up and down buttonhole stitch on TAST challenge.
I have started to work daily on my studio journal, throwing in some ideas.
The exercise of giving the ideas, which come and go, a definition is still new. It is easy to imagine than to work and simplify them. Sometimes it helps to see things with an idea of creating something out of it. Other times, when I am struggling to bring forth something, it feels as if these may not be useful at all. I am also finding for my strength and weaknesses, managing them is another story, they are like two sides of a coin.
That’s my progress for this week.
