Last week’s raised chain stitch on SharonB ‘s TAST 2013 challenge was part of earlier challenge. Though I had worked the sampler, it was not posted on the blog. I am not detailing the samples because of the limited use of my right hand.

I had a minor surgery at the base of my right middle finger last Tuesday.

It started with pain in that finger a few months back, which I did not worry about. It intensified in the past two months, the doctor advised some painkillers and ointment which did not rectify it. When I couldn’t move that finger without pain, he suggested a minor surgery to clear the path and making it easy for movement, which was done on 2nd September. I have been resting these few days and enjoying all the TLC from my husband. The doctor will remove the stitches on Saturday. The pain and triggering problem is solved , still the surgery spot and the surrounding place have pain and stiffness which I am hoping time will heal.
