I bought a printed cotton fabric for a tunic, and later thought that , the overall design may be to gaudy for a tunic , and then found plain maroon readymade tunic from a shop and decided to match these two. The printed cotton fabric was made into a salwar [Indian pants]. The tunic set-

Idea for the yoke design-I wanted to use the colours on the printed fabric on some ethnic Indian pattern. After browsing through to get some inspiration, at last drew this yoke pattern. The idea was to use mirrors and sequins as embellishments on this embroidered yoke. The details of the embroidery-
First colour was medium green, herring bone filling stitches were made with this thread.


The next colour was yellowish green, chain stitches and back stitches were done with this thread-
